Welcome to the Call for Proposals for the African Education Festival (AEF) 2027, taking place in Nairobi, Kenya, on 19–20 February 2027.
This year's theme is Shared Learning for a Shared World, explored through two strands:
- Community — Schools as learning ecosystems
- Connected Futures — Nurturing the planet we share
We welcome proposals from educators, school leaders, and practitioners with practical classroom or leadership experience, particularly within an African or similar educational context. Strong proposals will connect clearly to one of the two strands, be interactive rather than lecture-based, and focus on professional development rather than commercial promotion.
Please have your session title, abstract, and presenter bio ready before you begin. Submissions close on 30 October 2026
